Joseph E. “Cowboy” Zarybnicky, 57, Hanover, died of cancer April 3, 2008, at Community Memorial Healthcare, Marysville. A Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Monday, April 7, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Hanover. Burial was in the church cemetery. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Joseph Zarybnicky was born June 9, 1950, at Odell, the son of Ernest and Eleanor Goeckel Zarybnicky. He attended Odell Public Schools and graduated from Hanover High School in 1968. He attended Beloit Vo-Tech, Fairbury Junior College and Kansas State University. He worked for Moorman Feed, Valley Vet and Ex-Mark Manufacturing. He was member of St. John’s Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed livestock and farming. Survivors include his mother, Odell; seven siblings, Marge Schlabach, Hanover, John, Odell, Barb Jueneman, Hollenberg, Jim, Hanover, Tom, Rick and Ron, Odell. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of the mortuary.
