Edith A. Holle, 101, of Marysville, Kan., died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Cambridge Place in Marysville.Visitation was Sunday, March 30, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Kinsley Mortuary.A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 31, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Marysville. Rev. Donnie Hofman officiated.Carol Wright played the organ while the congregation sang “Just As I Am”, “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” and “Children of the Heavenly Father”.The pallbearers were Dan Shortle, Bill Tidwell, John Howard, Mark Mason, Cody Schwope and Tory Schwope.The honorary pallbearers were Bob Kloppenborg and Don Stenglemeier.Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery.Edith was born June 26, 1912, at Hanover, Kan., daughter of William and Helene (Imhoff) Heyer.On August 18, 1940, she married Julius Holle at Marysville. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Tidwell; and brothers, Henry Heyer and Julius Heyer.Survivors include several nieces and nephews.A memorial fund has been established to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
