Norma O. Herrmann

Norma O. Herrmann, of Marysville and formerly of Waterville, KS, died October 13, 2015 at a Lincoln, NE, Hospital. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, Waterville. Norma was born March 19, 1919 at Herkimer, KS, the daughter of Henry and Emma (Stettnisch) Meinecke. She spent her childhood in the Marysville area and graduated from Marysville High School. Her family lived in Waterville from 1946 until 1997 when she moved back to Marysville. Norma enjoyed flowers, loved birds, and was an avid bird watcher. She was a member of the Audubon Society, American Legion Auxiliary, and Moose Club. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Erma Herrmann, San Jose, CA; two grand daughters, Lynne Moore, Georgetown, TX, and Norynne Spencer, Playa del Rey, CA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan E. Herrmann; and son, Kenneth Herrmann. A memorial fund is established to The Kettering Sloan Cancer Center or the foundation of the donors choice.
