Susan K. Middle

Susan K. Middle, 57, of Beattie, KS, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her home in Beattie after a long illness. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 4 at the Beattie Community Center in Beattie. Susan was born March 7, 1959 at Clay Center, KS, to Arnold and Marcia (Taylor) Reith. She attended Highland Park High School in Topeka, KS. On June 7, 1977, she married Michael Snoe. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1978. In 1981, she married Terry Cox at Topeka. They later divorced. On November 1, 2007, she married Allen L. Middle at Hiawatha, KS. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Shawn Michael Snoe, Beattie, Stephanie Lorraine (Cox) Heptig, and husband Bill, Topeka, and Brenden Garret Cox, Seneca, KS; sister, Patty (Reith) Meinecke, and husband Dale, Beattie, brother, Eddy Reith, Topeka; niece, Brandee Switzer; four grandchildren, Rylee, Gavin, Irelynn, and Rayghan; Rylee and Gavin’s mother, Ronnie Snoe. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Michael Snoe; and son, Raymond Cox. Susan was a member of and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Topeka. She worked at Twin Valley Development in Beattie. She enjoyed her family and work. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date.
