Janet Vaughn

Janet Vaughn, 90, of Frankfort, KS, died Saturday, August 27 at the Frankfort Community Care Home. A graveside funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Friday, September 2 at the Frankfort Cemetery. Janet was born May 17, 1926 at Gilman, Vermont, to Herbert and Lois (Chapman) Wilkie. On December 24, 1997, she married Robert Jack Vaughn at Alwin, Texas. Janet served in the U.S. Navy from 1949 to 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Jack Vaughn, on February 11, 2009. Padden Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
