David Michael Scheetz

David Michael Scheetz, 68, of rural Wabaunsee County, died Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Midland Care Hospice House, Topeka. A private family burial was held at the Marysville City Cemetery. Mike was born on October 22, 1947 at Kansas City, MO, to Marvin G. and Gloria A. (Provost) Scheetz. In 1965, he graduated from Marysville High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in Germany. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator and retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Union. Baseball, basketball, golf were some of his favorite sports he loved participating in. He also enjoyed hunting with his Labrador dog and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Marvin; and brother, Robert. His mother, Ann Scheetz, Marysville, survives. Kinsley Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
