Albert J. Pacha, 96, of Marysville, KS, died July 11, 2017 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. Visitation was Sunday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. A rosary service was held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. A funeral service was at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 17 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Father Nathan Haverland officiated. Rosemary Forst played the organ while Paula Landoll-Smith led the congregation singing “Here I Am Lord”, “On Eagles Wings”, “You Are Mine”, “Amazing Grace”, and “How Great Thou Art”. The pallbearers were Charlie and Ruth Oehm, Steve and Sharilyn Pacha, and Lynn and Renae Bruna. Burial was in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery. Albert was born March 20, 1921, at Marysville to Vincent and Lenora (Rombeck) Pacha. After the 8th grade he began farming with his father and brother, Bernard. On November 22, 1980, he married Eileen Oelschlager at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling on the Pacha bowling team, fishing, working the farm and raising livestock. During the war, he helped at Dierking Lumber while his brother, Art, was in the service. He also did some custom farming. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Ted Pacha, Viola Reynolds, Leo Pacha, Leonard Pacha, Bernard Pacha, and Dorothy Stevens. Survivors include his wife, Eileen; siblings, Raymond (Kathy) Pacha, Art (Lorene) Pacha, and Gertrude Andersen, all of Marysville, and Patricia (Bert) Funk, Fargo, ND; and nieces and nephews.
