Juanita J. Fragel, 83, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Community Memorial Healthcare, Marysville. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., Friday, July 21 at Kinsley Mortuary. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service was 10 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Berean Church, Marysville. Rev. Joel Barber officiated. Kathleen Fincham was pianist and the congregation sang “How Great Thou Art," “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “When We All Get to Heaven.” Pallbearers were Daniel Fragel, Conner Slate, Brody Wehling, Durk Wecker, Adam Vogelsberg, Brandon Wehling, Jarrod Williamson, Andy Vogelsberg and Thomas Williamson. Honorary pallbearers were Molly Slate, Anna Fragel, Jenny Wecker, Allison Williamson, Kendra Wecker, Megan Vogelsberg, Jessica Wehling and Jordan Vogelsberg. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. On June 18, 1934, Juanita was born at Bremen, KS to Rudolph and Laura (Duensing) Licht. She attended school at Immanuel Lutheran School, Hermansburg. On January 13, 1957, she married Donald Wehling, and he died January 19, 1962. Juanita married Delmo Fragel on April 11, 1964 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Marysville. Juanita worked for the Marysville Advocate, Mother’s Helpers and was a seamstress. She enjoyed volunteering at Community Memorial Healthcare, was a member of the Berean Church, the Marysville Legion Auxiliary and the Bremen Ladies Club. She loved gardening, especially her flowers, and also enjoyed crocheting, sewing and quilting. Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Donald; and grandson, Brett Wehling. Survivors include her husband, Delmo; children, Bruce (Carol) Wehling, Pam (Randy) Wecker, Sharon (Dave) Vogelsberg, Brian (Jackie) Fragel and Doug (Cathy) Fragel all of Marysville, Jane (Jay) Williamson, Basehor; siblings, Laurinda Blumer, Kenneth Licht, of Marysville; and sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial fund is established to the Marysville Berean Church or Meadowlark Hospice. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
