Jason Stroemer

Jason Stroemer, 29, of Lincoln, NE, died Monday, September 28, 2009, at Lincoln after an accidental gunshot wound.

A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October3, at the First Christian Church in Marysville. The Rev. Jerry Zanker officiated.

The pallbearers were Lynn Lord, David Lord, Seth Lord, Brandon Schell, Jan Schell and Jon Schell.

Burial was in St. Gregory’s Cemetery, Marysville. Jason was born June 24, 1980, at Westmoreland.

Jason was the son of Ronald Stroemer and Lauri Schell. He graduated from Marysville High School in 1998. He operated heavy equipment for Ames Construction and enjoyed hunting and traveling, including visiting Mount Rushmore.

Survivors include a daughter, Samantha, Enid, OK; his mother, Marysville; three sisters, Jennifer Stroemer, Lincoln, and Gina and Jamie Stroemer, both of Marysville; and grandparents Duane Stroemer, Beatrice, and Dennis Schell, Marysville.

He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Wilma Schell and Phyllis Stroemer.

Kinsley Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
