Christine R. Wassenberg

Christine R. Wassenberg, 56, of Marysville, KS, died unexpectedly on August 10, 2020. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 19, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 20 at Marysville Christian Fellowship. Rev. Brad Wicks will officiate. Music will be "Amazing Grace, My Chains are Gone" and "Once and For All." Honorary pallbearers are George Hiskey, Robert Forbes and Chris Blacketer. Burial will be at a later date. Christine was born June 27, 1964 at Burlington, Wisconsin to Joseph and Marjorie (Wanamaker) Middleton. She married Phil Wassenberg. They had four children. She enjoyed traveling the back roads with her husband and looking at the history of the surrounding counties. She also loved playing games on the computer and writing poems. Survivors include her husband; sons, John (Kimberly) Wassenberg, James (Amy) Wassenberg, Marysville, and Allan Wassenberg; and daughter, Melissa Wassenberg, Virginia Beach, VA.
