Everett A. Tjaden, 2, of Marysville, KS, died March 14, 2020 at the Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be Friday, March 20, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A private family service will be held Saturday, March 21 at Immanuel Lutheran State Line Church, north of Marysville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Everett Anthony Tjaden was born on September 24, 2017, in Beatrice, Nebraska to Skyler Orgen and Jessica Kae (Royal) Tjaden. He was baptized on November 19th, 2017 at Immanuel Stateline Lutheran Church. He was a true blessing to our family, the bravest boy we’ve ever met, and his smile would light up the room. He became an angel on March 14th, 2020 after a life of medical battles. Everett is survived by his parents and big sister Ember Rose Tjaden, grandparents Lynn and Jerri Mayer, Brian and Teri Tjaden, and David and Debra Royal. Great grandparents Delmar and Janice Tjaden, the late Orgen and Delores Pralle, Rose and the late Harold Gebers, the late Ronald Lima, Frank and Dorothy Royal, and the late Shirley Royal. Aunts and Uncles Jake and Kassi (Tjaden) Bessler, Dustin and Tosha (Nickelson) Key, Logan Nickelson, and Jacob Royal. Cousins Rilynne and Whitlee Bessler, and Arista and Aiden Key. The family is asking for donations to a memorial fund in lieu of flowers that will be dispensed to the organizations and medical facilities that supported Everett during his life.
