Geraldine L. Richardson

Geraldine L. Richardson, 83, of Home, Kansas, passed away on May 21, 2026, at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville, Kansas.

Geraldine was born on November 30, 1942, in Orville, California, daughter of John and Georgia M. (Owens) Barrett. She attended Johnson County Community College and later earned her bachelor’s degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas.

For many years, beginning in the 1970s, Geraldine worked with the deaf community, a calling she cared deeply about. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed continually learning throughout her life.

Survivors include her two sons, Lewis Richardson (Tammy) of Home, Kansas, and Greg Richardson (Elvina) of St. Paul, Minnesota; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Kinsley Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
