Marysville

Gina D. Holle, 57, of Marysville, KS, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 30, 2024.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, August 6, from Noon to 9:00 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m.  

The funeral service took place at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 7 at Kinsley Mortuary.  Pastor Shannon Borgman officiated.  Music included "Dancing in the Sky", "Oh My Soul" and "Like My Mother Does."

The pallbearers were Ted Griffee, Ron Milner, Jeff Milner, John Hanke, Garek Riesen, and Bezley Ellison IV.

Burial followed in the Marysville City Cemetery. 

Gina was born on December 22, 1966, in Topeka, KS, to Frankie and Carmelita (Moody) Riesen.

On July 7, 2000, Gina married Lynn Holle in Arkansas. Together they created a loving home filled with joy and cherished memories.

She was a dedicated individual who touched the lives of many through work and personal relationships. She attended Marysville High School and graduated from Highland Community College attaining her GED. Gina worked at The Martin Luther Home in Beatrice, NE, Twin Valley Developmental Services in Marysville and Beattie, and Walmart in Marysville. Gina was known to most giving generously to her community; including but not limited to PEPC, providing prom dresses to those in need, Christmas Giving Projects, and many other events that provided for local children. 

Gina's greatest love was for her granddaughters. She enjoyed traveling; especially to the ocean, attending concerts, the company of her friends, camping, and the companionship of her beloved dog, Cruela.

Survivors include her husband, Lynn; daughter, Brandy and her husband Bezley Ellison IV, and their children, Taya, April, Sierra, Braley and Bezlynn, and her great grandchildren, Legend, Ace, and Nelly, all of Wichita, KS; son, Dyllon Holle, Marysville; siblings, Gary Riesen and wife Cindy of Waterville, and Gerald Riesen of Ash Flat, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Gale Heberlein.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in the care of Kinsley Mortuary.
