Hank Travis Williams, age 58, of Vermillion, KS, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2025, at his home. He was born on December 28, 1966, in Marysville, KS, to Delbert W. and Linda (Armstrong) Williams. He spent his life in the Vermillion, Frankfort, and Vliets communities. He attended grade school in Vermillion and completed high school in Seneca, KS.
Following graduation, Hank held a variety of jobs before fulfilling his lifelong dream of driving an 18-wheeler. He later joined Landoll Corporation, where he worked as an assembler.
In grade school, Hank was active in the Boy Scouts. He was fascinated with semi-trucks from an early age—often drawing pictures of them and memorizing details about every make and model.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Williams, in 2024; and his grandparents.
Survivors include his father, Delbert (Shirley), Admire, KS; brother, Kevin (Adela) Williams, Fairbury, NE; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors, and his beloved dogs, Violet and Thistle. Hank will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 13 at the Vermillion Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
