Holly Schoenhofer

Holly (Montanino) Merrill Schoenhofer, 58, of Blue Rapids, KS, entered her eternal rest February 25, 2023, at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville after a long period of illness. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 2, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Visitation will begin before the funeral at 9 a.m. Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery. Holly was born on December 17, 1964, in Hackensack, NJ, to Carol Hauck. She moved to Kansas as a young child and spent most of her life in Blue Rapids. Holly married William Lamb on July 2, 1986. To this union they were blessed with four children. On September 6, 1997, she was united in marriage to Randy Merrill, with whom she had a son. Some time after his passing she married Charles Schoenhofer on February 3, 2011. Holly enjoyed doing crafts and baking, especially for her family as it grew over the years. Spending time with her children and grandchildren brought great joy to her and was very important. Preceding her in death is her mother, Carol; beloved husband, Randy Merrill; and older sister, Tina. Survivors include her husband, Charles; five children, Jason, Justin, Bethany, Shoshana and Randyjoe; ten grandchildren, McKenzie, Kenadi, Korben, Konner, Kairie, Zaiden, Izzley, Elias, Kyzer and Al’Moni; siblings and many nieces and nephews. Holly will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother and Nana. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.
