Jackie was born on March 20, 1941, in her hometown of Frankfort, KS, daughter of Edward David and Vera Julia (Founds) Hazlett.  Her life was one filled with diverse experiences and deep connections. She began her career journey as a waitress and cook at the Carry Out in Frankfort. She later opened "Jackie's Cafe" in downtown Frankfort.  After marrying Roger, her life took a new turn as she devoted herself to raising their boys and later transitioned into the healthcare field. Jacqueline excelled as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medication Aide (CMA), and found great joy in her role as an Activities Director at the Frankfort Community Care Home.

Always eager to learn and grow, Jacqueline graduated from Frankfort High School and continued to impact lives through her work and interactions. Her dedication to others extended beyond the professional realm; she found fulfillment in being a 4-H Leader and organizing fun activities for the elderly residents she deeply cared for.

Jacqueline's creativity shone through her hobbies and interests, which included ceramics. Whether spending hours crafting at ceramic shops or simply enjoying Thanksgiving with family, she embraced every moment with warmth and enthusiasm. Among her proudest accomplishments was serving as a Princess attendant for the Frankfort Centennial and initiating the FCCH Community Christmas Tree Auction during her tenure as an Activities Director.

She is survived by her loving sons Allan, Troy, and Scott Turnbull; cherished grandsons Tyree and Teegan Turnbull; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; siblings Jack Hazlett, Cecil Hazlett, Imogene Hayes and Madeline Perry; and niece raised as a sister, Delphine Colvin.
