Jesse E. Hormann

Jesse E. Hormann, 41, died March 27, 2018 at Marysville.  He was born on March 1, 1977 at Marysville, son of Wilbur and Lynette (Heuer) Hormann.

Visitation was Friday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville.  The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 31 at Trinity Lutheran Church north of Hanover.  Rev. Rodney Fritz officiated.  The musicians were Arlyce Klipp, David Heuer and Wayne Kruse.   Music included “Amazing Grace (The Chains are Gone)”, “On Eagles Wings” and “The Strife is O’er, The Battle Done”.

The pallbearers were Sean Powell, Matt Snellings, Josh Snellings, Travis Roudybush, Roger Hormann and Jason Rosenberger.

The honorary pallbearers were J.B. Coufal, Justin Kruse, Ron Roepke, Tom Busing, Jakob Snellings, Doug Powell, Aaron McCormick and John Snellings.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Jesse was baptized into the Christian faith on March 13, 1977 at Zion Lutheran Church in Herkimer, by Rev. Curtis Melcher. His sponsors were Laverne Hormann and Walter Heuer.  He was confirmed into the Christian faith on March 24, 1991, at Zion Lutheran Church by Rev. David Meier, Vacancy Pastor.

Jesse received his Associate of Arts Degree in Business Management, Carpentry and Cabinet Making from Southeast Community College at Milford, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Laverne and Opal Hormann, and Walter and Elnora Heuer; and two uncles, Charles Heuer who died in infancy, and Jerry Heuer.

Survivors include his parents, Wilbur and Lynette Hormann, Hanover; brother, Jaron “Jay” Hormann, Odell, NE; nephew, Aaron Hormann, Odell; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Harley Kruse, Arvilla and Gilbert Throm, and Galen and Julie Hormann, all of Marysville, and Nancy Heuer, Hanover; special friend, Erin Slupianek, Marysville; and cousins, high school and college classmates, and his many, many friends.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
