Kathleen (Kathy) Anne Frazer

Kathleen (Kathy) Anne Frazer, age 78, of Vermillion, Kansas, passed away on September 8, 2026, at Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, Kansas.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Kathy was born on February 16, 1948, in Seneca, Kansas, to George Ernest and Betty Jean (Nash) Evans. She graduated from Park Hill High School in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1966.

Following high school, Kathy began working for Black & Decker, where she remained until 1996. She returned to the Kansas City area in 1995 and worked for AT&T until retiring in the early 2000s. In 2002, she and Paul moved to Vermillion.

On April 16, 1988, Kathy was united in marriage to Paul Frazer at the United Methodist Church in Vermillion.

Kathy and Paul shared a love of traveling and enjoyed many vacations together. They traveled throughout the United States, with trips to both the ocean and Gulf of Mexico holding a special place among their favorite destinations.

In her free time, Kathy enjoyed reading, watching KU basketball, and crafting. She was especially talented at creating silk flower arrangements and put her creativity to use making arrangements for many weddings over the years.

Kathy was also an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed gardening and canning the produce she grew, and she took great pride in tending to her roses. She also had a special love for her dogs.

Kathy will be remembered for her many talents, the things she loved, and the memories she created with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death is her parents; sister, Deborah Forgey; and brothers-in-law, Roy Blevins and Larry Forgey.

Survivors include her husband, Paul, Vermillion; son, Shaun (Sara) McDaris, Holt, MO; daughter, Amber McDaris, Vermillion; grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, Braelyn, and Madalen; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Steve (Deb) Evans, Vermillion; and Jeannie Blevins, Sicily Island, LA.
