Keith Allen Fincham, 91, of Home, KS, died Friday, June 11, 2021 at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville, KS. Visitation will be Friday, June 18 from noon until 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, at the Winifred Baptist Church in Winifred, KS. Rev. Curtis Fincham will officiate. Becky Fincham will be the pianist. Music will include “He the Pearly Gates Will Open”, “O That Will be Glory For Me” and the great grandchildren will sing “Jesus Loves Me”. The pallbearers will be Brent Fincham, Aaron Fincham, Brice Fincham, Brian Fincham, Chad Fincham, Jerrod Leonard, Joshua Leonard, Ben Petro and Tim Petro. Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery. Keith was born January 5, 1930, on a farm east of Blue Rapids, KS, son of Edwin and Edna (Wilson) Fincham. He attended Pleasant Valley Grade School and graduated from Blue Rapids High School in 1948. Except for a two-year stint serving in the U. S. Army from 1955-1957, he lived his entire life in Marshall County. He was a lifelong farmer, living and farming on a farm west of Marietta for over 50 years. On August 6, 1952, he married Donna L. Hafner at Marysville. The celebrated sixty-seven years of marriage, before she passed away on June 6, 2020. Keith was an avid sports fan and especially loved Kansas State University athletics and high school sports. He and Donna could often be found at local high schools watching football or basketball games and attending state tournaments around the state of Kansas. He became a follower of Jesus Christ in 1950 and was baptized at Winifred Baptist Church on New Year's Eve of that year. Keith faithfully attended and served in Winifred as well as the Victory Baptist Church in Marysville, for the past seventy-one years. Survivors include his children, Allen (Nita) Fincham, Des Moines, IA, Curtis (Becky) Fincham, Ankeny, IA, Beverly (John) Leonard, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Brenda (Tom) Petro, Prescott Valley, AZ; sister, Dorothy Carnes, Topeka; 15 grandchildren, Brent (Jodi) Fincham, April (Sam) Hague, Brice (Angie) Fincham, Aaron (Jamie) Fincham, Brian (Sara) Fincham, Brad (Jenny) Fincham, Amy (Dave) Perrott, Chad (Rachel) Fincham, Josh (Lanara) Leonard, Jerrod (Alyssa) Leonard, Jonna (Tim) O’Tool, Jeanne (Andrew) Bush, Tim (Monica) Petro, Rachel Petro, and Ben Petro; and 30 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna L. Fincham; infant son, Douglas Keith Fincham in 1957; son, Rodney Jay Fincham, in 1988; brothers, Wayne Fincham and Wally Fincham; brother-in-law, Delmar Carnes; and sisters-in-law, Betty Fincham and Jackie Fincham. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
