Marysville

Kolter Lee Wayne Tjaden, 14 months, died November 13, 2023, after a long life of medical battles at Children's Mercy Adele Hall Campus in Kansas City, MO.

Kolter loved watching the Huskers play with his mom and the Kansas City Chiefs with his dad. He loved it so much that he even dressed up as some famous chiefs players.  He enjoyed camping, swimming and boating with his family and friends.  His sister was his best friend and loved dancing with her.  His smile would light up the room and if he didn't think you were paying attention to him he would let you know by giving you a little growl.

Visitation was Friday, November 17th at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville.  The family received friends from 3-8 p.m.

A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 18, at Immanuel (State Line) Lutheran Church, north of Marysville.  Pastor Jim Ernst officiated.  Mary Lou Retchless played the organ while the congregation sang.  Music included "The Father, My Son, And The Holy Ghost", "Jesus Loves Me", and "Dancing in the Sky".

The pallbearers were Jacob Royal, Jacob Bessler, Logan Nickelson and Dustin Key.

Burial was in the church cemetery.
