She began by working at Hallmark Cards before moving on to a truck stop in Belvue, KS, where she met her future husband, Donald. Together, they briefly owned the Weaver Hotel in Waterville. Aside from her professional endeavors, Louise found joy in various hobbies and interests. She delighted in shopping at Walmart, Kmart, and JCPenney, as well as expressing her creativity through needlepoint, sewing, and crocheting an impressive total of 39 afghans.

A proud member of the Sunflower Club at Reeseville, KS, Louise cherished the connections she made within her community and the lasting impact she had on those around her.

In her family life, Louise leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald on October 21, 2003; daughter, Donita Louise; and siblings, Lynn Morford, Rey Morford, Aurthor Morford, Larry Morford, Alice Pitney, and Edith Davison.
