Lynn J. Ronnebaum, 52, Axtell, died July 28, 2020 at his home. Visitation will be Thursday, July 30 from 1 until 8 p.m. at Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home, Axtell. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Friday July 31, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Axtell. Masks are requested for those attending the funeral. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Axtell. Lynn was born August 26, 1967 in Axtell to Virgil E and Rozella (Kuckelman) Ronnebaum. He grew up on the family farm north of Axtell and attended St. Michael’s Catholic grade school and graduated from Axtell High School in 1986. He graduated from Beloit Technical College where he earned an electronics degree. While attending college he competed in annual state and national electronics competitions where he received first place honors each year. Lynn started his career at King Radio/Honeywell in Olathe and worked there until 2005 when he returned to Axtell and began his career as IT Manager at Landoll Corporation, Marysville. Lynn married Jeana Schienert and they later divorced. One child, Justin was born to this union. On Oct 11, 2017 he married Dawn Eis, she survives of the home. Lynn had a great love for his job, fishing, playing the guitar and camping. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed providing smoked meats for family gatherings. His son was the light of his life and he enjoyed every minute they spent together. Preceding him in death were his father, Virgil; and sisters, Marilyn Friedrich and Arlene West. Survivors include his wife, Dawn; mother, Rozella; son, Justin Ronnebaum, Axtell; stepchildren, Ian (Jessica) Slama, Columbus, NE, Cheney (Daniel) Lusher, Beatrice, NE, Eli Cline, Summerfield, Ann Cline, New Richmond, WI; brothers, Gary (Deb) Ronnebaum, Rollie (Mary Jane) Ronnebaum all of Axtell; sisters, Debbie (Keith) Meyer, Bern, Sherry (Dave) Ronnebaum, Axtell Connie (Jerry) Broxterman, Vermillion; and brother-in-law, Bob West.
