Margie (Marge) Louise Hogue passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 17, 2024.
She was born October 4,1928 on a farm outside of Blue Rapids, Kansas to Oscar and Maude Harris. Margie had three siblings, Donald A. Harris (Julie), Dale Harris (Bobbi Jo), and Dorothy Hula (Bill Hula).
Margie was a hairdresser from 1947 until her retirement in 2005. She owned and operated Marge's Beauty and Style Salon for most of those years.
Margie is preceded in death by her husband Donald Hogue, her parents, sister, two brothers, and her granddaughter, Robyn (Lower) Summers. Margie is survived by her three children, Gregory Lower (Eileen McAsey), Michael Lower (Belinda), Lori Klaus (David), seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
A family graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., April 27, at the Fairmont Cemetery in Blue Rapids, KS.
