Marjorie E. Hoppenstedt

Marjorie E. Hoppenstedt, 101, Marysville, died November 30, 2019 at Country Place Senior Living. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., Thursday, December 5 at Kinsley Mortuary.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 6 at Memorial Presbyterian Church in Marysville.  Rev. Shannon Borgman will officiate. Pallbearers are Brett Weldy, Mathew Bower, Mark Mulford, Scot Bourne, Kent Wassenberg and Wayne Whitesell. Burial is in the Marysville City Cemetery. Marge was born in Mankato, MN, on February 6, 1918 to O.H. and Grace (Meier) Webb.  She was united in marriage to C.H. Hoppenstedt on April 20, 1941. Marge was a longtime member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church.  She always enjoyed shopping and gatherings with friends and family.  Her favorite time was decorating for the Christmas holiday with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; and a sister and a brother. Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Turner and Mary Sawdy of Marysville, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Memorial contributions are established to the Memorial Presbyterian Church.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
