Marrissa Renea Slone

Marrissa Renea Slone, 24, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Topeka, KS. A private service will be held at a later date. Marrissa was born July 11, 1998, at Vail, CO, to Jason Slone and Jennifer (Shroyer) Otto. She worked as a CMA in Beatrice, working with special needs individuals. Marissa loved to spend time with her son, Forrest, go to the lake, ride motorcycles, or anything that involved being outside. She also enjoyed old churches and buildings and would often take pictures of them. Survivors include her grandparents, Matt and Mary Parker of Eagle, CO; Donna Shroyer of Parachute, CO; parents, Jason Slone (Stephanie Smith) and Jennifer Otto (Jason Otto); a son, Forrest Haredenburger; siblings, Jacob Slone and Adrian Shroyer; aunt and uncles, Michele Mitre of Craig, CO, Matthew Parker of Buena Vista, CO, Evan Weatherbie of Buena Vista, CO, Jerry Slone of Taylor, MI, and Tyrone Slone of Longmont, CO. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Wesley Shroyer. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.
