Robert “Bob” L. Wullschleger

Robert “Bob” Lee Wullschleger went to be with his Savior on April 3, 2020 at his home in Madrid, Iowa. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. A Private graveside will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in the Marysville City Cemetery. Pastor Titus Mohler will officiate. A memorial service will be held in Iowa at a later date. Bob was born on January 19, 1932 to Richard Daniel Wullschleger and Kittie Maria Hunt Wullschleger at Frankfort, Kansas. At the age of 16, Bob accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. After graduating from Marysville High School in 1949, he attended Kansas State University for one year and then left to help on the family farm. He continued to farm until 2002 when he retired and moved to Iowa. Bob and Margaret Wonnell Wullschleger were married on November 19, 1954 at Winifred Baptist Church in Winifred, Kansas. Five children were born to their union: Cynthia (Titus) Mohler of Beattie, Kansas; Robert (Janell) Wullschleger of Harlan, Iowa; David Wullschleger of Home, Kansas; Martin (Donna) Wullschleger of North Platte, Nebraska; and Marcia (Jeff) Ray of Madrid, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ruth Gee and brother Richard. He is survived by his sister Marge Vogler of Barnes, Kansas; his wife Margaret of the home; 5 children; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Iles Funeral Homes of Madrid, Iowa and Kinsley Mortuary of Marysville, Kansas. Memorial will be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
