Ronald E. Bramlage, 68 of Frankfort, KS, died December 15, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial was at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Hanover, KS. A memorial mass is being planned at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort at a later date. Ron was born in Marysville, Kansas on June 21, 1953, the son of Gilbert and Eileen (Helmlinger) Bramlage and was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort. Ron graduated from Frankfort High School in 1971. He received a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University. He spent many years working in radio which included broadcasting play-by-play for high school sports. He then returned to Frankfort to be a dedicated full-time caregiver for his parents. Ron enjoyed sports, gardening, making things with wood, tinkering with computers and fixing things. Ron is survived by his siblings, Janet Valigura, Topeka, KS; Judy (Steve) Slough, Topeka, KS; Ken (Carmen) of McKinney, TX and Lois(Gary) Heathman, Lenexa, KS; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort.
