Ruth A. Gastmann

Ruth Ann Gastmann, 73, of Marysville, KS, died November 4, 2021 at Community Memorial Healthcare. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Richard Mullen will officiate. Ruth was born July 26, 1948, in Kansas City, KS, to Delmar Blacketer and Ruth Conner. She graduated from Frankfort High School in Frankfort, KS. Ruth worked at Pizza Hut, Landoll Corporation and Skyline Restaurant in Marysville. Ruth loved spending Christmas with her nieces and nephews and spoiling them as much as she could. She enjoyed trying new recipes, watching the food network, reading, puzzles, word puzzles, loved her dog Puddles and liked watching football, especially the Chiefs. Ruth Ann was very stubborn and liked to do things her own way. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth (Conner) Perez; father, Delmar Blacketer; stepfather, Vic Perez; brother, Daniel Blacketer; and sister, Linda (Blacketer) Zeibig. Survivors include brother, David Blacketer; niece, Ruth Seagren; other relatives include Chris Blacketer, Terry (Megan) Blacketer, David Blacketer Jr., Sandy (John) Backus, Delmar Blacketer, Shasta Flower, Kendall (Angel) Dorgan, Caleb Seagren, and Lacie Seagren.
