Sally Keyse

Sally J. Keyse (nee Rothfelder) was born June 22, 1933 in Marysville, Kansas, passed away on February 4, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, Georgia after a hard-fought battle with health issues. A funeral service was held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Sally was the loving wife of Clarence H. (Bud) Keyse of Scott City, Kansas. They met in October 1952 at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. They were later married on September 6, 1953 in Emporia, Kansas. Sally was a life-long member of the Episcopal Church and was a third-generation member of P.E.O. for over 40 years. 20 of those years with Chapter A.Z. of Newnan, Georgia. Sally retired in 2008 from Publix where she was a checker and enjoyed her co-workers and customers. Sally loved to travel, loved people and all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her loving husband, Clarence H. (Bud) Keyse; children, Bradley S. Keyse (Senthia) and Brenda Bermudez (Jaime) all of Newnan, GA; and other family members, Denise R. Castelli (Kenneth) of Tremonton, UT; Lechelle Raffaele (Nicholas) of Spicewood, TX. Her 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren will truly miss her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to P.E.O. Chapter AZ of Newnan, GA and Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
