Shirley Crist

Shirley Crist, 81, Marysville, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Cambridge Place, Marysville.A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery, Marysville. She was born on December 19, 1936 to Edward and Martha (Rettke) Kos.  She graduated in 1954, from Marysville High School.   Shirley worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell.  Shirley married William Bailey and he preceded her in death.  She then was united in marriage to Charles Crist. Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband, William Bailey; brothers, Everett Kos, Floyd Kos; and sister, Alice Gaydusek. Survivors include her husband, Charles Crist, Washington; sister, Verda Drinkgern, Marysville; brother, JD Kos, Marysville; and nieces and nephews. A memorial fund is established to help local animal shelters.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville.
