Funeral services were held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Hanover on Saturday, August 13 at 11 am. A private interment was held at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Steve was born on July 16, 1943, in San Antonio, TX, while his parents, Elvin and Kathleen Reedy, were stationed at Randolph Field. He lived in NC for most of his adult life, with unique and interesting careers, including stints as hog farmer, antique dealer, and novice monk, before returning to his vocation as a teacher.
