Tammy Lyn Jones, 57, died October 7, 2019 at her home in Frankfort, KS. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2019 at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 19, at Antioch Cemetery, south of Frankfort.  Rev. Jim Akins will officiate. She was born to Robert and Ida (Eby) Bean at Axtell, KS, on June 8, 1962. She graduated as an LPN from Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia, KS, in 1987. She touched so many lives during her nursing career. When someone was passing away she would sit with the family for many hours while off the clock. Tammy spent a lot of her nursing career as ADON/acting DON at Peabody Memorial Nursing Home. She was an MDS coordinator at a facility in Wichita and a charge nurse at Marion Manor and The Frankfort Care Home. Tammy enjoyed reading, mowing, drinking diet Pepsi, but was most proud of her accomplishments as a nurse and spending time with her grand-kids. Tammy was married to Leslie Kremeier in 1979 and from this union Christopher and Kayla were born. Les and Tammy were divorced in 1989. She married Ronald Miller in 1990, with his two children Heather and Ashley. Ronald and Tammy were divorced in 2000. Tammy married Steve Jones on July 4, 2002, in Frankfort. She is survived by her husband, Steve; son, Christopher Kremeier (wife-Christine) and their daughters, Tristyn, and Leslyn, Herington, KS; daughter, Kayla Neitzel (husband-Casey) and their children Tre, Alaycea, and Landyn, Newton, KS; and friends that became more like family, Ashley Ippert (husband-Jonathan ) and their children, Stella and Grayson, Frankfort; granddaughter, Brooklyn, of Concordia, KS; and six siblings. Tammy is preceded in death by her parents and sister. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.  Contributions may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel.
