Thomas R. "Tom" Harrison

Thomas R. "Tom" Harrison, age 83, of Marysville, passed away on January 25, 2025, at his home.

Tom was born on January 23, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA to Thomas W. and Mabel (Rangnow) Harrison.  In 1964, Tom joined the Air Force.  He was stationed in Vietnam, Germany, and several places stateside during his service.  Tom was most proud of his Explosive Ordnance Disposal service. 

While stationed in Chanute AFB in Rantoul, IL, Tom was united in marriage to Mary (Lyn) Powell on August 17th, 1968.  They were blessed with a daughter, Syndee. 

After over 8 years in the service, Tom worked as a carpenter and then for Farmland Foods in Crete, NE, for 20 years. 

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Lyn; daughter, Syndee (Jerry) Lohse, Marysville; grandsons, JT Smith, Marysville, Jakob (Destiny) Smith, Stratford, TX, Joe Smith (Shaeleigh Eakins), Manhattan, KS; and three great-grandchildren, Everlee, Everett and Evren Smith, Stratford.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
