Troy Minge, 34, of Hanover, Kansas, our beloved husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle, and friend unexpectedly passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Hanover Hospital. For the past 8 years, he has been a machine adjuster for Tension Envelope. Troy was a handyman and always had a pair of pliers on his side ready to work or help where needed. On May 2, 2015, Troy was united in marriage to his best friend and perfect match, Danielle Distad, in Hanover. A few years later, they were blessed with a son, Wyatt. Troy loved being a dad and enjoyed taking Wyatt out to the farm to check on the cows or to go for rides. Troy was a volunteer firefighter. He volunteered with the Pony Express Festival and belonged to Whitetail Unlimited of Marshall County. He loved the outdoors, bow hunting, and just the peace of sitting in a tree.  He also enjoyed riding four wheelers, country toodles, wood working, tinkering around the garage, and making arrowheads. Troy’s number one priority in life was always his family and friends. He will be remembered as someone who was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Troy is survived by his dear wife, Danielle; his son and pride and joy, Wyatt; his parents, Gary and Patty; sister, Misty (Paul) Bowden, of Gardner; brother, Shawn (Melissa) Minge, of Hanover; and nieces, Gillian, Audrie, Kolbi and Trisha.
