He never knew a stranger; he could strike up a conversation with anyone and get to know them. Robert enjoyed hunting, gardening, doing yard work, and tending to his beautiful flower gardens and lawn. He also enjoyed Saturday morning coffee at Ricky’s and visiting with good friends. He was always up for a good game of pinochle or pitch and would be sure to offer you a cold one. He especially loved entertaining his family in Hanover for the Lohse Family Reunion. He was a proud member of the Hanover American Legion Post 306 for over 50 years. He served as past Commander and was currently serving as Adjutant.
